Here’s the thought – I love taking pictures, and I love capturing people so they look natural and relaxed. Sometimes this is because they don’t know I’m taking the pictures or I am somehow able to get them to forget I’m there. Either way I really enjoy it and usually the people like the images [...] Now if someone in Atlanta asks if I have a “Real Camera” I can most certainly say, “Yes!” Yesterday I worked on my Uncle’s computer and I received this on permanent loan. It’s a Rapid Omega with a 90mm prime lens. It shoots 6cm x 7cm negatives and I’ve been playing with it all night, unfortunately [...] Nicholas actually spent the first night alone in his new room; I think he turned every available light on. I know he even changed one of the smaller lights to a larger one. He helped out yesterday when we were putting the trim and doing the windows so I think he learned and got to spend [...] I’ve moved my pictures to a new page – http://www.thomaswimprine.com I am hoping to keep new artwork up and to keep it fresh, however I have been working in the darkroom lately so posting it isn’t as easy as the digital cameraI have my kids on a regular schedule now!
